Blue Star ApplicationsDon’t forget to print your blue and gold star books for your stars this testing cycle on the website and turn them in each week. Do Not Throw Them AWAY. I need them back at the end of the cycle for your star on belt ceremony day. You can click here for the link to Star Book. Class FeesThank you parents and students who have paid your class fees on time. You have done a wonderful job the last few months and it is greatly appreciated! If you are on automatic draft (EFT) for your class fees and your card is not clearing and being denied withdrawal then your discount for that month will not apply. This program was provided to give a discount for class fees to be paid on time. There are several students whose cards consistently do not clear every month so my accountant Dave Carpenter will be contacting you about this. If you are running into a financial situation to where your card will not clear on the date you chose then contact Dave at 233-3356 and he can take care of adjustments that need to get done. Recruitment ChallengeWhose life will you change today? Many students have brought in friends this past month and we are challenging the rest of our students to spread the word and share martial arts with everyone. You never know who could really use it in their lives, look at what martial arts has done for you. Who would you be without it? Every student who brings in a friend and they enroll into our academy will receive $50.00!! If your guest does not sign up but they come to every class for the entire 30 days you will receive $5.00! Comments/ConcernsOur doors are always open to discuss any problem your/your child may have with their training or personal issues. If you are very satisfied or dissatisfied with the way we are teaching you/your child or have ideas of improvements do not hesitate to talk to us. Master Southwick and I want to give you the best martial arts experience possible, however we cannot achieve this goal if we do not know of any problems. There is a section on our website where you can email Master Southwick directly. We are here to serve you and your family. IMAC Fees 2009IMAC Yearly Fees of $20 are due this month for all students. Family Rate for IMAC: 1st + 2nd = $20 each, 3rd on up pay $10 each. IMAC fees are to certify all students in their rank nationally known not just locally, discounts on tournament competitions and seminars hosted by Southwick Academy or IMAC.. For more detailed information look on our website. New Kung Fu Class in Idaho FallsWe are excited to announce a new curriculum to our academy. The Wounded Tiger Kung Fu class. This class will be taught by Sifu Brad Little, 3rd Degree Sash (third degree Black Belt). This means that students have even more options for training. This curriculum was designed specifically to fit into the Uchudo system as either a "stand alone, traditional style" or to enhance your training no matter what your skill level is. There will be a patch available to all black belts showing what system you have trained under. For more information contact your instructor. Classes are now open in Idaho Falls on Monday and Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. at 575 3rd Street (in the Express Yourself Dance Studio) |
